Astrid O’Callaghan, our event hostess, flying in all the way from Ireland, believes that every season of life has a purpose and offers a unique opportunity to embrace what it brings. Her dream is for this event to not only to pamper you silly but also inspire you to embrace your true self, no matter the season. Astrid will share her own life seasons and how embracing them has allowed her to welcome any season with open arms.
She didn’t wait for permission—she created her own path and proved that limits exist only if you let them.

Our keynote speaker, Elmarie Pretorius, is no stranger to life's seasons. She has lived a life that inspires many to grab the bull by the horns, face the storm head-on, and be their best selves. If you’ve never attended one of her talks, you won't want to miss this one!

Make up Fairy
From a young age, Alicia Buckle knew she was destined to make women feel beautiful. Growing up in her mother’s hair salon, she immersed herself in creativity and developed a deep passion for makeup. Her journey began with an education in skincare, leading to work in prestigious clinics and a position as a skin lecturer at Isa Carstens Academy.
Alicia pursued extensive makeup training both locally and internationally, learning from industry legends like Rae Morris. She founded the Alicia Buckle School of Makeup to elevate the industry and empower her students. Her expertise has seen her work with over 700 brides, TV shows, magazines, and catalogs, traveling the world to share her talent.
Recently, Alicia expanded her business to include one-on-one workshops and launched her own makeup brand, featuring her favorite lipsticks: Natural Nude and Perfect Red. Grateful for every opportunity, Alicia is excited to share her journey and passion with you, inspiring confidence and beauty through her art.

Featured Vocalist
Tania is a dedicated single mom and a full-time financial manager with an unwavering passion for music. Her journey with music began in her youth when she taught herself to play a variety of instruments. Even while pregnant, she was determined to continue her musical journey, singing classical exams and organizing numerous events. Tania has been a vibrant member of at least four different Namibian bands and managed the renowned Warehouse Theatre, all while navigating the complexities of life as both a wife and later a divorcee.
Throughout it all, Tania has always made time to perform, whether on stage or simply singing in her car. Her life is a testament to her belief in courage and determination.
“My daughters are now teenagers, starting to find their own way in the world. I can’t shield them from life, but I can show them what it means to have courage: to do something despite being scared.
In a world where women are called to fulfill roles that we did not necessarily grow up with, I think being brave means being true to yourself: to juggle all our myriad responsibilities with style, grit, and grace - because we are women.”
